Cold Brew Apple Cider Vinegar Iced Tea
Serves: 1 Prep time: 5 minutes Steep time: 8 - 12 hours Total time: 8 hours 5 minutes Suitable For: Vegans
Much like apple cider vinegar, tea is held in high regard in Japanese culture. Revered by zen monks for heightening awareness whilst lowering stress, it offers a more gentle way to start the day. Our cold brew iced tea recipe features a loose leaf black tea (e.g. Kocha which is a japanese black tea that tends to be less bitter) and our raw apple cider vinegar with ‘the Mother’. Topped off with some sweet agave syrup - this is one of the most refreshing and flavoursome iced teas.
Ingredients
- 1 Tsp loose leaf black tea, such as kocha
- 1 shot (30ml) of OSU Original
- agave syrup, to taste
Method
- Add the tea leaves & 250ml of cold water to a sealable jar or container and steep overnight in the fridge.
- Fill a glass with ice, add 30ml of OSU Apple Cider Vinegar and the strained tea. Sweeten to taste agave syrup and stir the mixture well.
